Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files stored on your device. My Accounting Hub, operated by Axiella Ltd, uses a small number of them.

Strictly necessary

Needed for the site to work - for example remembering that you dismissed the announcement bar, keeping you signed in, security, and remembering your currency (the mah_ccy cookie, kept for 1 year) so checkout charges in the currency you see. These cannot be switched off.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are used so we can improve them. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* (kept for up to 2 years), which store a random ID - not your name or email. These cookies are only set if you click “Accept analytics”. If you reject, or haven’t chosen yet, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless “consent mode” that sends no identifiers. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising.

Payments

Our payment processor, Stripe, sets cookies needed to process a transaction and to prevent fraud when you buy a membership or a document. Payment takes place on Stripe’s own secure checkout page, so these cookies are set by Stripe only when you go to pay, not while you browse our site.

What we do not use

No third-party advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no selling of data.

Managing cookies

You can change your choices at any time through the “Your privacy choices” link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.

Local storage

We use your browser’s local and session storage to remember lightweight things like your cookie choice (mah_consent), your chosen currency (mah_currency), the location used for “near me” searches (mah_detected_loc, cleared when you close the tab) and a dismissed banner. That data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
